COMPANY HISTORY

Our story

SYNCHRONIX, a. s., is a proven and professional firm in the area of IT and IT services. We have long specialised in enterprise and management systems, web applications, outsourcing services, analytical and consulting services and the management of complex projects. In addition to our Slovak branches, we have a subsidiary SEVITECH CZ, thanks to which we continue to grow and become more international. We have been active on the European market for 25 years.

NOVITECH FOUNDED
NOVITECH Žilina, s. r. o., was originally established in 1994 to provide information technology services. We are focused primarily on the development of information systems and decision support.

WE ARE INTERNATIONAL
Already at the beginning of the company, we focused on foreign cooperation. Together with Zillion AG, we developed back office systems in banks for trading on the financial markets, which were successfully deployed in Switzerland, Italy and Germany.

WE HELP THE TAX AUTHORITIES
Since 1996, we have been developing and providing support for the tax information system for ten years. Thanks to this system, the complete operation of tax administration and involvement in tax collection were secured.

WE MAINTAIN SWISS ROADS
By 2000, we developed and successfully implemented a new LKC controlling system. Thanks to the system, we facilitated and unified the performance and cost analysis of Swiss road maintenance and related police services.

WE ARE EXPANDING THE SCOPE
We began to focus on systems in the field of application quality support in companies according to ISO and Six Sigma standards. We focused on this system until 2007.

WE'RE CHANGING NAME
Changes followed after more than a decade. We expanded our porfolio with an emphasis on services, and thirty of our developers and analysts were reorganised into analytical and consulting support, and we became a partner of the AP brand in Slovakia. We combined our local expertise with their experience as a global leader on the market for enterprise and information systems. This was accompanied by a name change, which reflected the changes inside the company. NOVITECH became SEVITECH, s. r. o. (Services Information Technologies).

WE'RE RESTRUCTURING
Thanks to the cooperation with SAP, our specialisation has become solutions for medium and large enterprises and government institutions. From the development of information systems, we have transitioned to the customisation of global software. Our restructuring was significantly aided by Slovakia's accession into the EU, thanks to which new opportunities opened themselves up to us.

WE'RE DEVELOPING AGAIN
After restructuring, we expanded our portfolio to include new services and products. Demand for services focused on Internet technologies, web applications and outsourcing allowed us to develop application platforms and to operate information portals based on SAP and Microsoft technologies. The company's legal structure also changed. Our limited liability company was transformed into a joint-stock company.

THE PORTFOLIO IS GROWING
In 2011, we expanded our portfolio to include solutions covering geographical information systems. Implementation of specialised systems for operation and maintenance with geo-support for utility companies became one of our major competencies.

THERE ARE MORE PARTNERS
After the period of global crisis, the demand for solutions focused on cost efficiency increased. This led us to select another strategic partner: CA Technologies. Our solutions have found use in the financial sphere, in government institutions and in the energy sector.

WE'RE GROWING
The expansion of our porfolio led to growth of the company itself. In 2014, the ranks of our employees swelled to more than 60. Thanks to our experienced analysts, consultants and developers, we have become partners of important technological brands, and we can build or maintain integrated quality management, information security, environmental management and service management systems.

OFFICIAL SAP PARTNER
After successfully passing the audit conducted by SAP AG and SAP Slovakia, we became a "VAR delivery support partner for SAP® Business-All-In-One". This partnership entitles us – and also obliges us – to provide customers with state-of-the-art software solutions and professional expert services in the field of application and technical service support. Thanks to these services, customers save time and money when managing software applications.

SPATIAL INFORMATION REGISTER
In accordance with the National Concept of Informatisation of Public Administration, we developed the Spatial Data Registry (RPI) as a basic state register. This register is primarily used as a unified and data-consistent resource about spatial information in the form of metadata about services and spatial data sets.

WE'RE AWARDED
Our ZBGIS MAP CLIENT project for the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Authority of the Slovak Republic was recognised with an ITAPA 2017 1st place award and the Rádio Slovensko 1st place award in the category of Best Digitalisation of Society Project. Thanks to this web map application, we greatly facilitated interactive work with ZBGIS data.

RECERTIFICATIONS
We successfully completed the recertification process. Thanks to this step, we extended the validity of our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certificates.

WE ARE SYNCHRONIX, A. S.
After expanding our portfolio and continued growth, we made the decision to once again reflect this change in our company's name. SEVITECH, a. s., was transformed into SYNCHRONIX, a. s. SYNCHRONIX has the portfolio and experience of a proven IT company that has been on the market for more than 25 years, but at the same time has the goal of being an even more flexible and open partner for its clients.
